Windsor police arrest last of four big-box retail theft suspects

Four suspects wanted for a series of thefts at big-box stores across the city have been arrested.
Kory Raymond, 36, was arrested by Windsor police Monday morning.
Police charged him with three counts of theft under $5,000, committing an indictable offence for a criminal organization, and three counts of failure to comply with a release order.
Investigators have linked the group of suspects to five retail thefts that occurred at multiple big-box stores in Windsor between last Aug. 25 and Jan. 27.

The value of stolen merchandise was estimated at $3,377, according to police.
Members of the Windsor Police Service Target Base Unit located and arrested a 40-year-old man in the area of Tecumseh Road West and Church Avenue on Feb. 5.
A 35-year-old woman was arrested in the 4300 block of Walker Road the following day. Later that evening, officers located and arrested a 32-year-old man in the 1600 block of Drouillard Road.
All three suspects were charged with three counts of theft under $5,000 and committing an indictable offence for a criminal organization. The 32-year-old man was also charged with two counts of failure to comply with a release order.
Police thank the public for sharing social media posts that helped located the last of four suspects.
