This City Is Ours is a new eight-part crime drama set and filmed in Liverpool.
This City Is Ours is coming to BBC One and it tells the story of Michael, who has been involved in organised crime for the entirety of his adult life. However, for the first time in his life, he has experienced love.
In his partner Diana, he sees a future, which makes the stakes even higher as he now has something to lose. The series tells the story of Michael and Diana’s relationship and how his crime gang stands between them.
Together with his friend Ronnie, Michael has been bringing cocaine into the city from Columbia, but when a shipment goes missing, he knows something isn’t right. Meanwhile, Ronnie’s son Jamie is keen to take over the empire, leaving Michael without a place at the table.
Both Michael and Jamie have bold ideas to modernise the gang and they will battle for control of it. But Michael has bigger things on his mind as he bids to protect the woman he loves.
