Meghan Markle sends handwritten note to podcaster who said she was ‘scared’ for her

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, sent a sweet note to podcaster Amanda Hirsch after expressing concern over the criticism the former senior royal would receive from her Netflix show, “With Love, Meghan.”
In a March 19 Instagram story, the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” host teased a surprise she received from Meghan. In a video, she first showed off the crisp white envelope with her name written on the front and an M with a crown on the back, indicating Meghan’s royal cypher.
“Remember I said I was scared for Meghan’s new show and the possible hate she would get bc for some reason ppl wanna hate on her about everything?” Hirsch wrote in her next story, alongside a screenshot from Meghan’s lifestyle show and her comment in question. Hirsch then showed Meghan’s personal note that the duchess sent her, which mentioned the podcaster “feeling scared.”
“Dear Amanda, I heard you were feeling scared. Don’t be! This is the fun part — let’s enjoy it,” the note, dated March 2025, read.
Hirsch wrote that she was “beyond shook” and would be framing the letter. She also joked about wanting her own monogram.
“Am I absolutely flabbergasted and obsessed. F—. YES,” Hirsch wrote, tagging Meghan and letting her know she has “a fan for life.”

Hirsch continued to express her excitement over the letter, sharing on her Instagram story that she would place the note in “a new box of extra special letters and this is the first and only in it for now!”
Hirsch also posted about the letter on her Instagram grid and people in the comments section praised the former “Suits” star for her actions.
“Gotta love a handwritten note from the calligraphy Queen herself,” one person wrote, while another added, “Shut the front door!!!!!! This is so cool. Makes me like her even more than I already do.”
“With Love, Meghan” was released March 4 on Netflix — and criticism did ensue. Her conversation with Mindy Kaling, in which she reminds her friend that her surname is now Sussex, went viral.
In the episode, Kaling refers to the duchess as “Meghan Markle,” before Meghan quips, “It’s so funny that you keep saying Meghan Markle. You know, I’m Sussex now.”
In multiple episodes, Meghan is seen using Le Creuset pieces, which online critics called her use of expensive cookware “out of touch,” “completely and utterly tone deaf,” and “unrelatable.”
However, many Black women came to Meghan’s defense by posting their own Le Creuset items on social media.
It appears Meghan will be enjoying more of the “fun part” of sharing her show with the world as “With Love, Meghan” was already picked up for a second season.
