Des Moines police searching for ‘endangered’ teenager last seen in River Bend neighborhood

Des Moines police are seeking help finding a “missing endangered juvenile” last seen in the River Bend neighborhood.

Tayvion, who is 15 years old, was last seen just before the lunch hour in the 1500 block of 18th Street, according to a news release from the department. Police did not give his last name.

He is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black coat, gray sweatpants and had a black and white backpack, police said.

Tayvion needs medication that he does not have with him. Police and family have not been able to find him.

Anyone who sees Tayvion or has information about his whereabouts is asked to call 911.
